Independent Mortgage Advisors
As our advisors are Independent, they are free to advise you on every mortgage product available to ensure that whatever you choose is the best match for your circumstances. Our advisors use a comprehensive computer database to search all the current mortgage deals and a range of insurance providers on the market so you get the very best deals without having to visit every bank, building society and lender on the high street.
Free Advice
After your initial free consultation, we will agree with you whether you will pay us a fee, or whether we will be paid out of the cost of any financial product you buy (i.e. commission is paid to Kevin Ford & Co Ltd by the lender or insurance company, for the successful placing of business. The provider's normal product charges include commission, so there is nothing you need to pay us in addition).
The majority of our clients opt to pay by way of commission for our mortgage advice, but if you choose to pay us a fee, this is usually 0.5% of the loan amount, subject to a minimum of £250. We will always inform you of any commission we receive.
In almost all cases we are able to make arrangements which clients would be unable to make for themselves. All our proposals will be fully explained and costed so that you'll know exactly what and why before you agree to anything.
